Senior Head – Commodity Financing Solutions

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking a Senior Head of Commodity Financing Solutions to lead the development and growth of commodity-focused financing solutions within Corporate and Investment Banking. The role combines strategic planning, client acquisition, structured solutions, market intelligence and people leadership. The successful candidate will build long-term relationships with corporate clients, identify opportunities across commodity markets and ensure that business activity remains aligned with regulatory and risk requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the formulation and execution of business strategy and translate strategic priorities into measurable operational plans.
• Lead new-client acquisition and identify opportunities to expand the commodity financing business.
• Develop and maintain senior relationships with clients and provide solutions tailored to their commodity financing requirements.
• Monitor commodity-market developments and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities and emerging risks.
• Lead teams through performance management, recruitment, capability development and engagement.
• Drive change initiatives and support strategic programmes that improve products, processes and client outcomes.
• Develop and oversee policies, procedures, controls and standard operating practices for commodity business activities.
• Ensure business practices meet internal policies, external regulations and required service standards.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in commodity sales, structured derivatives and credit solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Deep understanding of commodity markets and financing structures.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking with excellent communication, negotiation and client-management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate teams.
