Job overview: Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Universal Banker (UAE National) to join its banking team in the United Arab Emirates. Deliver branch-based banking services and support sales activity across a range of customer needs. The position combines transaction fulfilment, customer assistance and relationship development, helping customers access suitable banking products and services. The successful candidate will work with colleagues and stakeholders to support reliable service, sound decisions and the bank’s operating standards. This vacancy is intended for UAE Nationals.
Key responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries, service requests and routine banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support account servicing, onboarding and fulfilment in accordance with branch procedures and control requirements.
- Identify customer needs and introduce suitable asset, liability and other banking products.
- Build positive relationships with customers and support the growth and retention of an assigned customer portfolio.
- Coordinate with branch and specialist teams to resolve service issues and complete customer instructions.
- Maintain accurate records, protect customer information and follow KYC, AML and operational requirements.
Requirements and qualifications
- This position is reserved for a UAE National.
- Relevant customer-service, branch operations or banking experience is useful.
- Good understanding of banking products, transaction processing and customer requirements is important.
- Demonstrated ability to organise work, manage priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
- A professional approach, sound judgement and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality are important.
