Description
The Manager – Business Planning and Analysis supports financial planning and performance management within the Retail Products division. The role develops budgets and forecasts, monitors portfolio performance and prepares management information to support strategic decisions. It requires the ability to interpret financial results, explain variances and provide practical recommendations that help the business understand profitability, identify emerging trends and manage financial performance. The position is expected to turn financial data into practical information that supports business decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning across Retail Products.
- Monitor financial performance, product profitability, key performance indicators and emerging trends.
- Analyse variances against budget and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards and business insights for senior management.
- Manage monthly accruals, account reconciliations and follow-up of aged or outstanding balances.
- Support financial controls, audit requirements and compliance with relevant internal and regulatory standards.
- Work with product and business stakeholders to explain results and improve planning assumptions.
