Description
The Delivery Lead facilitates the delivery of digital product initiatives for the Wealth business, working with Tribe leads, Product Owners, IT platform teams and senior stakeholders. The role aligns technology delivery with business priorities, manages dependencies between product features and platforms, and helps squads work effectively using Agile methods. A strong understanding of wealth-management products and processes is important when guiding decisions and managing delivery risks. The role also requires awareness of developments such as digital-asset trading, regulatory changes affecting new asset classes and emerging technologies including AI/ML, IoT and biometrics. Delivery decisions should support platform stability and compliance with non-functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business Tribe leads to define initiatives and align delivery plans with strategic objectives.
- Manage dependencies between digital product epics and features and the IT platforms responsible for delivery.
- Ensure required work is prioritised on team backlogs and that delivery commitments are tracked.
- Apply Agile methods, encourage strong team practices and support higher levels of Agile maturity.
- Act as an escalation point for Product Owners, business units, platform owners and external vendors.
- Identify delivery risks early and coordinate mitigation actions with the relevant teams.
- Use wealth-domain knowledge across portfolios, order management, bonds, funds, stocks, IPOs and equity trading.
Qualifications and Requirements
- No named degree or minimum years of experience is specified.
- Strong functional understanding of wealth management, including portfolio and order-management processes, is required.
- Knowledge of equity trading, MIP, Lombard lending, market pricing and asset classes is important.
