Business Analyst

The Business Analyst supports product and technology change in the Transaction Banking environment, with a focus on corporate channels and services. The work spans understanding business requirements, coordinating with vendors and technology teams, supporting testing and preparing operational materials for new product releases. Experience across Cash Management, Corporate Banking channels and transaction-banking processes is relevant to the position, together with the ability to communicate with business and technical stakeholders. The role works across product, client, operations, risk and technology groups. It calls for organised requirement tracking, clear prioritisation and dependable follow-up so that product changes are tested, documented and ready for customers before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into clear functional or delivery actions for technology teams.
• Coordinate with external vendors on daily progress, development activity, demonstrations and defect fixes.
• Prioritise issues and follow through until defects are resolved without disrupting normal business operations.
• Prepare and maintain service-package templates, charge-rate sheets, user groups and signature matrices for product readiness.
• Create go-live sanity plans, execute production test cases and support pilot customer onboarding.
• Coordinate production incidents and problem fixes with the relevant channel support teams.
• Manage reconciliation of production test accounts and confirm that new features are ready for use.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education may include BE/BTech, BCom with relevant Transaction Banking, Banking or Technology experience, or a master’s in Technology or Management.
• Experience in Cash Management, Corporate Banking channels, Transaction Banking Services products or product development is relevant.
• Onboarding, client migration and Agile software-delivery experience are advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and coordinating vendors.
• Knowledge of banking systems, channels, middleware and Agile delivery.
