Associate Vice President & Solution Architect

Own solution architecture for the core banking platform and ensure technical designs support business strategy, regulatory needs and regional banking practices. The role centres on Finacle, core banking modules, integrations, upgrades and reliable end-of-day processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business, product and regulatory requirements into scalable core banking designs.
• Define architecture for customer information, loans and liabilities, general ledger, value-added modules and liquidity solutions.
• Optimise end-of-day processing, batch cycles and cross-application handoffs.
• Design integrations between core banking and digital channels, payments, CRM, risk, compliance and data platforms using APIs, messaging and file-based interfaces.
• Lead design for customisations, extensions and upgrades while balancing standard product capability with bespoke needs.
• Support conventional and Islamic banking product lines across corporate, financial institution, SME and retail segments.
• Translate UAE and regional regulatory requirements into system changes and conduct architecture, impact and technical risk reviews.
• Work with business, delivery and vendor teams on roadmaps, migrations and implementation programmes; mentor technical teams.

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least ten years of banking and financial services technology experience, focused on core banking.
• Strong knowledge of Finacle and modules such as CIF, loans and liabilities, GL, VAM and liquidity solutions.
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, middleware, batch scheduling, upgrades, migrations or new implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or a related discipline.
• UAE banking experience and knowledge of conventional and Islamic banking and regional regulation.

Skills and Competencies

Architecture governance, technical leadership, risk assessment, vendor coordination and clear communication are essential. Finacle customisation or scripting experience is preferred.
