Job Overview
The IT Audit leadership role delivers risk-based assurance over technology, cybersecurity, resilience and emerging technologies. It helps the bank understand whether key controls are designed and operating effectively, while providing clear findings and practical recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute technology audits end-to-end, including scope, fieldwork, evidence review and reporting.
- Assess IT, cybersecurity, resilience, continuity and emerging-technology controls against relevant risks.
- Evaluate findings objectively, considering the control environment, business maturity and potential impact.
- Review evidence submitted for closure of audit action plans and confirm whether corrective steps address the issue.
- Contribute to audit-universe design, annual planning, testing approaches and audit transformation initiatives.
- Maintain constructive relationships with auditees and communicate complex matters clearly to senior stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A background in IT audit, technology risk, information security, IT controls or related assurance work is relevant.
- Experience leading audit engagements, managing fieldwork and preparing clear audit reports is important at this level.
- Understanding of cyber controls, technology resilience, continuity and emerging technologies such as AI or blockchain is useful.
- Project management, delegation, mentoring and executive-level communication are important capabilities.
