Description
The Associate Director – Financial Reporting supports consistent, timely and accurate financial reporting for Dubai Holding Group Services and its supported business units. The position leads close and reconciliation activities, maintains general-ledger integrity and strengthens controls so that management receives reliable financial information. It works closely with finance operations, business stakeholders and external reviewers to improve service quality and reporting discipline.
Dubai Holding Group Services seeks a dependable professional who can work collaboratively, exercise good judgement and help improve results over time. Solutions should be useful, secure and measurable, with appropriate human oversight and a clear understanding of data limitations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities within agreed reporting timelines.
- Oversee general-ledger accuracy and alignment with accounts payable, accounts receivable and other subledgers.
- Review bank, fixed-asset and other account reconciliations and follow issues through to resolution.
- Support compliance with applicable reporting standards, internal controls, local regulations and group policies.
- Coordinate with finance teams, auditors and business stakeholders to resolve reporting questions and maintain audit-ready evidence.
- Improve reporting processes, team performance and stakeholder service across the finance function.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Substantial experience in financial reporting, general ledger and financial-close processes.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA or ACCA is preferred.
- Strong financial controls, compliance and governance knowledge.
- Experience in finance shared services and Middle East reporting is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, relationship management, prioritisation and communication skills.
