Pediatric Allergist

American Hospital Dubai is recruiting a Pediatric Allergist to provide specialist assessment and management for children with allergic conditions. The position involves clinical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing follow-up in a multidisciplinary pediatric environment. The successful physician will be expected to deliver evidence-based care while communicating effectively with children and their families and maintaining accurate clinical records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess pediatric patients presenting with allergic and related immunological conditions.
• Take detailed histories, perform clinical examinations and establish appropriate diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the child's symptoms, clinical findings and medical history.
• Monitor patient progress and modify management plans when clinically appropriate.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment options, precautions and follow-up requirements to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with pediatricians, nurses and other specialists when complex cases require multidisciplinary input.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical documentation.
• Contribute to quality, patient-safety and continuing professional development activities.

Requirements

• UK CCT or American Board certification in the relevant specialty is mandatory.
• Relevant subspecialty training and experience in Pediatric Allergy.
• Strong communication and family-centered care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a specialist hospital environment.
