Description

Carries out and supervises line-level maintenance tasks on Air Arabia Egypt aircraft under the ECAR A&C License Category. Ensures that all work is performed, certified, and recorded accurately and promptly, in full compliance with Air Arabia policies and civil aviation regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviews assigned maintenance tasks with the Manager to understand priorities, documentation needs, and safety cautions before starting work.
  • Prepares and executes scheduled maintenance, ensuring availability and proper use of required documentation, tools, parts, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Performs defect troubleshooting and rectification as per Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and directives from MCC (Maintenance Control Center) and Engineering.
  • Ensures aircraft are dispatched in a fully compliant and airworthy condition, thoroughly inspected and tested under approved procedures.
  • Certifies tasks performed or supervised within the scope of individual authorization; confirms accurate and complete entries in technical logs and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinates effectively with engineers, technicians, flight crew, and MCC to communicate status updates on aircraft readiness and airworthiness.
  • Promotes a safe working environment by using correct protective equipment and GSE, and ensuring safety precautions are followed during maintenance activities.
  • Represents Air Arabia Egypt professionally in all technical interactions with RBG Flight Crews, partner companies, and customers.

Qualifications

  • Holds valid ECAA LWTR for large aircraft and maintenance license with company approvals on Airbus A320 with CFM engines (A&C Category).
  • Must be eligible to obtain an unrestricted ECAA LWTR A&C Category License.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of airframe and engine systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken) for technical communication.
  • Competent with computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Experience

External Applicants

  • Minimum 2 years of certified maintenance experience on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Line or Base Maintenance environments.

Internal Applicants

  • Must be licensed on Airbus A320 in B1 category.
  • Demonstrated solid performance and reliability in previous roles.
