Senior Vice President & Head of AI Products

Lead the delivery engine for artificial intelligence products and turn the bank’s AI strategy into measurable outcomes across customer, employee and enterprise use cases. The role scales the product portfolio and leads multidisciplinary product, engineering, data science and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate AI strategy into a prioritised portfolio of products, platforms and reusable capabilities.
• Lead delivery squads for customer-facing AI solutions and internal productivity initiatives.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation and prioritisation through deployment, adoption and continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior leaders to select high-impact initiatives and present progress to executive stakeholders.
• Build relationships with technology partners, cloud providers, AI vendors, research institutions and industry groups.
• Promote experimentation, responsible AI and continuous learning across the organisation.
• Oversee AI governance, risk management and compliance and manage the AI Lab budget to support business outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or a related discipline; a master’s in AI or data science is advantageous.
• Ten to twelve years in AI, data science, advanced analytics, technology product delivery or related fields.
• At least three to four years leading data scientists, AI engineers, product managers or technology professionals.
• Demonstrated delivery of AI or analytics products from concept through production and adoption.
• Strong exposure to generative AI, large language models and emerging AI technologies; banking or another regulated industry is preferred.
• Experience managing complex portfolios, executive stakeholders and significant budgets.

Skills and Competencies

AI strategy, product management, MLOps, cloud and data platforms, solution architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, responsible AI, Agile delivery, strategic execution and change leadership are central to the role.
