The Slimming Therapist delivers personalised non-invasive slimming and body-contouring treatments and offers practical wellness guidance to help clients work towards their goals. The role combines consultation, treatment delivery, progress monitoring and safe equipment use with attentive client care and careful record keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed consultations to understand each client’s body-composition concerns, preferences and wellness goals.
- Develop individualised slimming and contouring plans that match the client’s assessed needs.
- Perform approved non-invasive treatments such as body wraps, ultrasound or laser-based fat-reduction procedures.
- Monitor client progress and adjust the plan when appropriate to support safe, realistic outcomes.
- Explain relevant wellness products, nutrition considerations and lifestyle habits that may support client goals.
- Maintain accurate, confidential treatment records and communicate professionally with clients.
- Keep treatment areas and equipment clean, hygienic and ready for use before and after every session.
Requirements and Skills
- One to three years of experience in slimming, wellness or aesthetic-clinic work.
- Certification in body contouring or slimming treatments is preferred.
- Education in nutrition, wellness, physiotherapy or cosmetology is an advantage.
- Sound understanding of non-invasive treatment equipment and safety requirements.
- Good communication, client-care skills, attention to hygiene and respect for confidentiality.
Qualifications
Certification in body contouring or slimming treatments preferred; related wellness education is an advantage. Candidates should also demonstrate the role-related skills listed above and be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
