Description
We are looking for a Store Assistant to join our Spare Parts Department in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will support day-to-day operations by managing inventory, receiving and dispatching parts, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth functioning of warehouse activities.
This role is ideal for a motivated and organized individual with previous warehouse or spare parts experience who thrives in a fast-paced and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated areas to ensure accessibility and safety.
- Load and unload heavy equipment parts and tires with proper care and handling techniques.
- Package items appropriately and label them clearly for easy identification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Follow proper procedures for issuing and receiving stock, adhering to company standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies or reorder requirements.
- Keep accurate and organized records for inventory transactions, receipts, and issues.
- Ensure quantities requested and issued match and maintain detailed issuance logs.
- Assist team members and respond to internal parts requests in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience in warehouse/store operations, preferably in spare parts for heavy equipment or automotive sectors.
- Communication: Good verbal and written English; Arabic is a plus.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills for tracking, stocking, and maintaining parts inventory.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in labeling, issuing, and verifying goods is essential.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of machinery components and parts is beneficial.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting, moving, and handling heavy parts and tires.
- System Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems is desirable.
- Teamwork: Cooperative attitude and ability to work effectively with technicians and sales teams.
