Description

The ELV Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all service and maintenance operations involving Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems. This includes managing skilled technical teams, ensuring high service quality, maintaining customer satisfaction, and guaranteeing timely project delivery in line with contractual, safety, and technical standards.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

📡 Service Management

  • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for systems including:
    • CCTV & Surveillance
    • Access Control & Intercom
    • Fire Alarm Systems
    • Building Management Systems (BMS)
    • Public Address & Audio Visual
    • Structured Cabling (Voice/Data)
  • Ensure quick turnaround for client service requests
  • Maintain service responsiveness in line with SLA targets

👥 Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and motivate ELV engineers and technicians
  • Allocate resources according to service priorities
  • Monitor team performance and identify development needs

💼 Client Relationship & Contract Management

  • Act as the primary liaison for clients regarding service activities and AMC contracts
  • Organize regular client reviews and feedback sessions
  • Ensure renewal of AMCs with high satisfaction ratings

🧠 Technical Oversight

  • Support troubleshooting of complex system issues
  • Review drawings, schematics, and system documentation
  • Stay current with technological advancements and ensure regulatory compliance

📊 KPI & Reporting

  • Maintain dashboards tracking service KPIs such as SLA adherence, first-time fix rate, and team utilization
  • Prepare client reports, internal performance reviews, and renewal proposals
  • Assist commercial teams in estimating and quoting maintenance packages

⚠️ Health, Safety & Quality

  • Enforce HSE standards across all service operations
  • Conduct site audits and evaluate risks proactively
  • Ensure compliance with local safety codes and technical benchmarks

📋 Selection Criteria

🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering
  • Valid UAE driving license

💼 Experience

  • Minimum 10 years in ELV systems (security, safety, cabling), with 5+ in a leadership role
  • Hands-on exposure to AMC/service delivery and client-facing operations

🧠 Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership, communication, and client service focus
  • Solid experience with MS Office and ELV diagnostic/planning software
  • Project planning, resource scheduling, and performance tracking
  • Troubleshooting mindset with analytical proficiency
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites as required
