Project & O&M – Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager – Solar PV Systems to lead multidisciplinary execution teams and oversee end-to-end project management across commercial and industrial solar installations—including rooftop, carport, and ground-mounted systems. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, leadership skills, and cross-functional coordination to deliver projects that align with industry standards and client expectations.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and mentor site engineers, logistics coordinators, document controllers, and support staff
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within execution teams
• Identify capability gaps and organize structured training initiatives
• Regularly report team performance and improvement areas to senior leadership
• Promote effective collaboration across projects, engineering, operations, and business units

2. Engineering & Design Oversight

• Manage the full design cycle from feasibility to validation for solar PV systems (rooftop, carport, ground-mounted)
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and oversee conceptual, detailed, and construction-ready engineering
• Ensure compliance with authority codes (DEWA, etc.) and bankability standards
• Coordinate with OEMs, subcontractors, and vendors for equipment selection and integration
• Lead equipment analysis—including specs comparison, warranty reviews, and compatibility checks
• Validate IFC and as-built drawings against design assumptions
• Support bid documentation and proposal preparation

3. Project Execution & Construction Management

• Oversee full project lifecycle from feasibility through commissioning and handover
• Manage client communication and technical alignment throughout execution
• Coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams
• Track progress through project reporting and ensure adherence to scope, timeline, and contractual terms
• Conduct site audits to monitor quality, safety, and compliance
• Evaluate live performance data for operational optimization
• Collaborate with O&M teams to close performance gaps and enhance efficiency
• Review plant generation, billing reports, and support milestone-based invoicing with Finance

4. Strategic Growth & Business Development

• Streamline project workflows and implement automation for efficiency
• Strengthen relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to position the brand as a technical leader
• Contribute to industry representation, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts

🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• DEWA-certified Senior Solar PV Expert
• Extensive experience as a Project Manager or senior technical lead in the solar PV sector
• Proficient in project management tools: MS Project, Primavera, MS Office, and CRM platforms
• Skilled in solar design tools including AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst, Helioscope, SolarEdge Designer, and HOMER
• Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations and best practices in EPC and O&M for solar systems
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities
