Senior Accountant

Job Overview

Innovative International Decoration & Interior Design LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee important finance activities in Abu Dhabi. The role is designed for a professional with four to five years of relevant UAE accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. The successful candidate will maintain day-to-day accounting controls, prepare financial statements and management reports, and support compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements. The position also covers project costing, budget monitoring, supplier payments, customer collections and bank reconciliations. Experience in interior fit-out, construction or contracting will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting work, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare financial statements, cash-flow information and periodic management reports.
• Maintain records and documentation required for UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Monitor project budgets, job costs, expenses and profitability across relevant work packages.
• Coordinate supplier payments, customer collections and bank reconciliation activities.
• Support external audits and ensure financial files are accurate, complete and easy to review.
• Provide useful financial information to support budgeting, planning and management decisions.

Requirements and Skills

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Have four to five years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience in interior fit-out, construction or contracting is preferred.
• Understand UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements and related documentation.
• Be proficient in accounting applications and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrate sound analytical, reporting, organisation and communication skills.
• Understand project costing, budget controls and financial reporting processes.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Applicants should also bring practical knowledge of UAE accounting and tax compliance, along with the ability to manage finance processes in a project-based business.

Employment Details

The vacancy is full-time in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with an estimated monthly salary range of AED 8,000–12,000. Four to five years of UAE accounting experience is required. Candidates should email a CV outlining relevant industry and reporting experience.
