QatarEnergy is inviting applications for the position of TREASURY ANALYST (FRONT OFFICE) in Doha, Qatar. This full-time opportunity is part of the company's energy, engineering, project, operations, technology, finance, marine or emergency-response functions. The successful candidate will be expected to apply relevant professional knowledge while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, reliability, compliance and operational discipline. The position requires effective coordination with internal departments, contractors, service providers and other stakeholders as applicable.The role involves managing assigned responsibilities in accordance with approved QatarEnergy procedures, technical standards and applicable regulations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a structured oil and gas environment where accuracy, timely communication and sound professional judgment are important. Key Responsibilities
- Support treasury front-office activities and liquidity management.
- Monitor foreign exchange, interest rates and financial-market information.
- Assist with cash positioning and liquidity planning.
- Support approved treasury transactions and confirmations.
- Coordinate with banks and internal finance teams.
- Prepare treasury reports and follow financial controls.
Candidate Profile
- Required experience: Relevant treasury/financial markets experience.
- Educational qualification: Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline.
- Relevant capabilities: Support treasury front-office activities and liquidity management, Monitor foreign exchange, interest rates and financial-market information, Assist with cash positioning and liquidity planning, Support approved treasury transactions and confirmations.
- Strong communication, teamwork, analytical ability and professional judgment are important.
- Ability to follow HSE requirements, company procedures and applicable industry standards.
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
