Test Engineer (Emiratisation)

Job Overview

Ensure the quality, reliability and performance of banking technology platforms through structured testing, automation, defect management and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, cases and scenarios for banking applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT and performance testing.
• Identify, document and track software defects and coordinate resolution with developers.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks where appropriate.
• Work with developers, business analysts, product owners and project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Support UAT and validate solutions against business and customer expectations.
• Contribute to QA standards, testing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Agile delivery and release-quality activities.

Candidate Requirements

• UAE National with Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related discipline.
• Experience in software testing, QA or technology delivery.
• Knowledge of manual/automated testing, defect management and SDLC practices.
• Exposure to test automation, CI/CD and Agile frameworks is advantageous.
