Description
The Senior Manager – Planning develops and maintains integrated project schedules for real-estate developments. The role helps establish reliable baselines, track milestones, identify schedule pressure early and coordinate recovery plans where required. It works with project managers, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders so that programme information supports timely decisions and delivery commitments.
Dubai Holding Real Estate seeks a dependable professional who can work collaboratively, exercise good judgement and help improve results over time. Solutions should be useful, secure and measurable, with appropriate human oversight and a clear understanding of data limitations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate and maintain master-development programmes and integrated project schedules.
- Establish contract baselines, milestones, progress trackers and recovery programmes aligned with approved plans.
- Review updates from project teams and contractors, checking logic, dependencies and critical activities.
- Identify schedule risks and delays, propose mitigation actions and track recovery performance.
- Produce clear planning reports, dashboards and milestone updates for project and management reviews.
- Coordinate with other project controls and delivery functions to ensure schedule information is consistent and current.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Diploma in Construction Management or Planning is preferred.
- Around 6–8 years of relevant experience, including at least two years in project planning.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools; Microsoft Project experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder-coordination skills.
