QHSE Officer – Facilities Management Soft Services

Drive practical health, safety, quality and environmental standards across facilities operations through audits, guidance, investigation and continuous improvement. This full-time opportunity is based in the UAE and is suited to a professional who can combine strong functional knowledge with dependable execution, communication and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Conduct workplace inspections and identify hazards, unsafe practices, environmental risks and compliance gaps.
• Investigate incidents and non-conformances, determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain records relating to training, inspections, investigations, risk assessments and other QHSE activities.
• Provide technical guidance to operational teams on health, safety, wellbeing and environmental requirements.
• Support audits and follow-up actions and help ensure policies and procedures are consistently implemented.
• Promote awareness through toolbox talks, training, coaching and visible safety leadership.
• Prepare clear reports and use trend analysis to identify recurring risks and opportunities to strengthen the HSE culture.

Requirements

• 4-5 years in a similar field; bachelor degree in science/HSE or equivalent; NEBOSH IGC/NVQ or recognized HSE qualification; ISO 45001/14001 audit knowledge; UAE driving licence.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities with the confidence to work with colleagues, clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to prepare accurate reports, records and operational updates.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high standards in a fast-paced service environment.

The successful candidate should be confident working independently at operational sites, influencing teams constructively and turning audit findings, incident data and observations into practical improvements.
