Junior Quality Controller

Job Overview West Zone is seeking a Junior Quality Controller to support food safety and quality standards across retail operations in Dubai. The role involves checking food handling practices, identifying quality concerns, maintaining inspection records, and working with store teams on corrective actions.Key Responsibilities • Conduct food safety, hygiene, and quality inspections across retail locations. • Check temperature controls, expiry dates, storage conditions, cleaning practices, and food handling procedures. • Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions. • Maintain inspection records and prepare basic quality reports. • Support HACCP implementation and compliance with UAE food safety requirements. • Coordinate with store teams to improve hygiene practices and maintain consistent standards. • Report observations promptly and help ensure food products are stored and handled appropriately.Requirements and Qualifications Candidates should hold a diploma or bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, microbiology, or a related field. Zero to two years of food safety or quality-control experience is specified. Knowledge of HACCP principles, food hygiene, quality inspection procedures, retail food operations, and compliance requirements is important. Retail or food-industry experience is an advantage.
