Internal Auditor (Emiratization)

Job Overview

Support the Group Internal Audit function by executing risk-based audits, assessing controls, identifying gaps and helping business functions strengthen governance and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the annual risk-based audit plan across assigned enablement functions and departments.
• Perform audit planning, risk assessments, scoping and engagement procedures.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify gaps and document evidence and findings.
• Prepare clear audit reports with practical recommendations and agreed action plans.
• Track remediation and validate corrective actions where required.
• Use data analytics and audit tools to improve testing efficiency and insight.
• Engage business and support functions to promote a strong risk and control culture.
• Monitor regulatory and industry developments and emerging banking risks.

Candidate Requirements

• UAE National with Family Book; role is aligned to Emiratisation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance or related experience.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CISA, CFA, FRM or CRMA are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
