Internal Audit Manager

Job Overview

Live Auditors & Chartered Accountants LLC is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead audit assignments and strengthen risk management, internal controls, and compliance across client engagements. Based in Ajman, this full-time position is suited to a qualified Chartered Accountant with substantial professional experience and a strong background in UAE internal auditing. The successful candidate will combine technical audit knowledge with sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to guide an audit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and lead internal audit assignments from initial scoping through fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.
• Review business processes, financial records, and control procedures to identify weaknesses, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Supervise, coach, and support audit team members, ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Prepare clear audit reports that explain findings, assess their significance, and present actionable recommendations to management.
• Discuss observations with relevant stakeholders and monitor the implementation of agreed remediation plans.
• Maintain appropriate audit documentation and ensure engagements follow applicable professional standards and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• At least eight years of total professional experience, including a minimum of three years in internal audit within the UAE.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audit engagements and lead or supervise team members.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, risk assessment, internal control frameworks, audit planning, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• A valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
