Job Overview
Khalifa University is seeking a Senior Specialist in Institutional Research and Planning to support evidence-based decision-making through reliable data, analytics, and performance reporting. The role connects institutional KPIs and strategic priorities with measurable outcomes by building analytical models, monitoring performance, preparing reports, and helping university leaders identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design institutional research methods and reporting approaches aligned with strategic goals and key performance indicators.
- Collect, validate, consolidate, and document academic-programme and institutional performance data from multiple systems.
- Develop analytical models, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor programme effectiveness and institutional performance.
- Conduct statistical and trend analysis to identify performance gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports with concise findings, clear interpretation, and actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Lead enrollment forecasting and capacity modelling, including student numbers, teaching loads, and classroom utilization.
- Support accreditation, programme reviews, rankings, and regulatory submissions while improving data quality and reporting automation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Quality Assurance, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of seven years of relevant experience is required.
- Candidates should be comfortable working with multiple data sources, validating information, and maintaining traceable documentation.
- Experience with dashboards, forecasting, statistical analysis, business intelligence, or institutional performance reporting is valuable.
- Strong analytical writing, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and data-integrity practices are important.
