Foreman – Maintenance

The Foreman - Maintenance supervises daily maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil services in residential, commercial, and mixed-use facilities. The role coordinates technicians, allocates resources, tracks preventive and corrective work, and ensures tasks are completed within agreed service response times. It also supports quality checks, client coordination, safety compliance, and accurate documentation so that maintenance operations remain reliable and aligned with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities performed by MEP and civil maintenance technicians across assigned sites.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and corrective work orders to meet SLA and KPI requirements.
• Allocate manpower, tools, materials, and access arrangements according to work priorities and site needs.
• Inspect completed maintenance, verify work quality, and follow up on repeat faults or outstanding defects.
• Coordinate with client representatives, operations teams, and specialist vendors on service requests and technical issues.
• Ensure safe work practices, permit-to-work compliance, PPE use, housekeeping, and accurate daily or monthly reports.

Requirements

• Experience supervising facilities maintenance activities across building-services disciplines.
• Working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, work orders, and service-level commitments.
• Ability to assign work, manage technicians, and respond to urgent operational issues.
• Comfort maintaining records, communicating with clients, and escalating safety or quality concerns promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Team leadership, resource planning, fault coordination, and practical problem-solving.
• Understanding of HSE requirements, site inspections, and maintenance quality checks.
• Clear communication and reporting, including the tracking of outstanding tasks.

Employment Details

This is a full-time UAE facilities-management role and may involve residential, commercial, or mixed-use sites. The foreman should be prepared to respond to planned and urgent maintenance needs, coordinate technicians effectively, and maintain service quality against agreed requirements.
