The successful candidate will follow established procedures, maintain accurate information and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve agreed standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop maintenance strategies, inspection plans and shutdown schedules for processing equipment and plant utilities.
- Lead troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and control-system faults and coordinate safe repairs.
- Manage engineering projects, equipment upgrades, commissioning and operational handover.
- Review downtime, reliability and maintenance-cost data, setting priorities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, engineering and documentation requirements.
A practical understanding of the function, sound prioritisation and timely escalation will help protect quality, safety, cost and customer commitments.

- Eight to ten years of engineering experience and several years of leadership are useful benchmarks.
- Food, poultry or other automated processing-plant experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance planning, equipment controls, reliability methods and project delivery is beneficial.
Candidates should show relevant experience, learn local procedures quickly and meet any required statutory or professional standards.
