Consultant & Specialist Dermatology

The Consultant or Specialist Dermatologist provides expert medical and aesthetic care for patients with skin, hair and related dermatological concerns. The role includes clinical assessment, tailored treatment planning, selected cosmetic procedures and patient education, while maintaining evidence-based practice and compliance with relevant Dubai Health Authority requirements and clinic policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage common dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, infections and pigmentation disorders.
• Conduct thorough skin assessments and prepare treatment plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic information.
• Provide suitable medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology procedures within professional competence and approved protocols.
• Perform aesthetic treatments such as laser procedures, chemical peels, Botox or fillers when appropriately certified and authorised.
• Explain treatment options, likely outcomes, risks and post-treatment care so patients can make informed decisions.
• Coordinate with nurses, aesthetic technicians and patient-care colleagues to support safe, smooth treatment delivery.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow quality, ethical and regulatory standards.
• Keep knowledge current through continuing education and awareness of developments in dermatology and cosmetic technology.

Requirements and Skills

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD) and recognised specialisation in Dermatology, such as MD or DNB.
• DHA licence or eligibility as a Specialist or Consultant Dermatologist.
• Five to eight years of clinical dermatology experience, including medical and cosmetic practice.
• Certification in advanced cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, lasers or minimally invasive rejuvenation techniques.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Sound clinical judgement, patient communication and commitment to ethical, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

MBBS/MD with Dermatology specialisation (MD/DNB); DHA licence or eligibility; BLS certification. Candidates should also demonstrate the role-related skills listed above and be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

This is a full-time opportunity with Apparel Group. The listed location is United Arab Emirates. Daily priorities will depend on operational requirements, team coordination and the standards relevant to the role.
