CNC Machinist (DMG, Mazak, Integrex)

NOV is recruiting a CNC Machinist in Dubai to produce precision-machined oilfield components using CNC equipment. The position involves machine setup, operation, inspection and troubleshooting while maintaining quality, safety and equipment-care standards. Candidates should have practical machining experience and familiarity with machines such as DMG and Mazak, as well as drilling components and threaded connections used in oil and gas manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC machines according to approved drawings and production instructions.
• Machine threaded connections and parts to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect finished threads and components using precision measuring equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, machining instructions and CNC programs.
• Identify machining errors, tooling problems and machine-performance issues and report or correct them appropriately.
• Operate equipment such as DMG, Mazak, ROMI, Doosan or comparable machines as required.
• Maintain tools, machinery and work areas in safe and clean condition.
• Follow all NOV manufacturing, quality and HSE procedures.
• Protect company equipment and use tooling responsibly.
• Support production targets while maintaining consistent product quality.

Requirements

• Industrial/manufacturing diploma or vocational mechanical training.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a machinist, turner or fitter.
• Experience with DMG, Mazak or similar CNC machines.
• Oil and gas manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris or VAM-type rotary shoulder connections is advantageous.
• Familiarity with drill pipe, drill collars and drill-stem components is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
