CNC Machinist (DMG, Mazak, Integrex)

NOV is recruiting a CNC Machinist in Dubai to operate precision CNC equipment and manufacture oilfield components to approved drawings and specifications. The machinist is expected to set up and operate CNC machinery, monitor machining performance, inspect finished parts and maintain high standards of safety and workmanship. Experience with DMG, Mazak and similar machines is particularly relevant to this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for production of threaded connections and machined components.
• Follow drawings, CNC programs, tooling instructions and production requirements.
• Inspect completed threads and parts for dimensional accuracy and compliance.
• Use precision measuring equipment and appropriate inspection methods.
• Operate and troubleshoot CNC machinery while identifying causes of reduced performance or machining errors.
• Work with machines such as DMG, Mazak, ROMI and Doosan equipment where applicable.
• Maintain tooling, machinery and work areas in safe and serviceable condition.
• Follow departmental safety procedures, production instructions and NOV quality requirements.
• Support efficient production and communicate machine or quality issues to supervisors.

Requirements

• Industrial/manufacturing diploma or vocational training in mechanical engineering or machining.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Background as a CNC machinist, turner, machinist or fitter.
• Experience with DMG, Mazak or equivalent CNC equipment.
• Oilfield manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with rotary shoulder connections and drilling components is advantageous.
• Good mechanical aptitude, precision and problem-solving ability.
