Description
The Assistant Professor in Pharmacy teaches and supports students in pharmacy and related pharmaceutical sciences while contributing to research and academic program development. The indicated teaching areas include Microbiology, Pharmacology and Infectious Diseases. The role combines classroom instruction, student assessment, scholarly publication, curriculum review and accreditation support, with an emphasis on preparing students for professional practice and continued learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Pharmacy and related specialties.
- Teach relevant subject areas such as Microbiology, Pharmacology, Infectious Diseases and pharmaceutical sciences.
- Assess student learning, monitor performance and provide constructive feedback that supports academic progress.
- Conduct research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Clarivate Web of Science.
- Contribute to curriculum development, course management, quality assurance and program accreditation.
- Participate in research projects, academic committees and community engagement activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Pharmacy or a relevant field is required.
- At least two years of university teaching experience is requested.
- Research publications in Scopus-indexed journals are expected.
- Candidates should communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
- Experience using digital teaching tools, e-learning platforms and academic reporting systems is important.
