Description
Transguard Group is recruiting an Assistant Manager for Facilities Management Hard Services in Dubai. The position supports the delivery of building and engineering maintenance services, coordinating planned work, reactive requests, technicians and specialist contractors. It requires a structured approach to asset reliability, service response, safe work practices and the reporting needed to maintain consistent contract performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate planned and corrective maintenance activities and ensure work orders are assigned and followed up.
- Support technicians and specialist contractors in resolving building-services issues and restoring equipment to service.
- Monitor maintenance schedules, response times, service quality and resource use against contract requirements.
- Coordinate site access, permits, materials and stakeholder communication for maintenance activities as required.
- Maintain equipment and work-order records and help identify recurring faults or opportunities to improve reliability.
- Reinforce safe working procedures, quality checks and timely escalation of high-risk or service-critical issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bring experience in hard-services facilities management, building maintenance, engineering operations or contractor coordination.
- Understand maintenance planning and the importance of accurate asset, work-order and compliance records.
- Demonstrate practical problem solving, communication and a strong commitment to safe service delivery.
- Use sound judgement, keep records accurate and follow relevant policies, confidentiality expectations and internal controls.
- Relevant education, technical training or equivalent practical experience in the field is beneficial; any mandatory credential should be confirmed before applying.
Skills
- Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, MEP Coordination, Contract Management and related practical methods relevant to the position.
- Clear written and verbal communication with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders.
- Organisation, careful documentation and the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
- A collaborative approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement and responsible decision-making.
