Description
Own product discovery and delivery for aviation-domain digital products, turning commercial objectives into a roadmap, actionable requirements and user-centred releases. The role is accountable for backlog health, cross-team coordination, sprint execution and the quality of delivery. It also studies competitors and emerging technology, works directly with clients and coaches team members so product decisions remain aligned with business needs and user expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify product opportunities and oversee concept development, roadmap planning, launch priorities and product improvement work.
- Own and refine the backlog, ensuring development stories have clear acceptance criteria and are ready for upcoming sprints.
- Guide delivery teams through sprint activities, promptly resolve blockers and monitor progress against agreed timelines.
- Coordinate product managers, UX designers, developers, QA teams and business stakeholders to maintain a shared product vision.
- Review designs and test cases, collect client feedback and propose improvements based on evidence and market comparisons.
- Coach team members, monitor delivery performance and escalate emerging risks or deviations to senior product leadership.
Requirements
- Demonstrate senior experience leading product discovery and software delivery across multiple stakeholders.
- Able to set priorities, balance commercial value with user needs and make timely decisions.
- Experience working with backlogs, sprint planning, product roadmaps and quality assurance processes.
- Confident representing a product team in client meetings and management discussions.
Qualifications
- Relevant higher education or equivalent experience in product, information systems, business or technology.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery and aviation or travel technology is beneficial.
- Experience supporting or mentoring product professionals is valuable.
