Job Description

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be part of our passionate Food & Beverage team, delivering exceptional service and memorable dining experiences to our guests. You’ll be an ambassador of the Sofitel brand and embody our commitment to excellence, elegance, and heartfelt hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Become fully familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet’s menu.
• Prepare your station for service, including mise-en-place, table setup/reset, and cleanliness.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, upselling where appropriate.
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system following standard procedures.
• Ensure all sales transactions are properly recorded and processed.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with Sofitel’s service standards.
• Clear tables promptly and ensure cleanliness of the dining area.
• Complete opening and closing tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Accommodate guest requests, including specific preparation methods and dietary needs, wherever possible.
• Present food and beverages in line with brand presentation guidelines.
• Maintain your section in a clean, well-organized, and welcoming manner.
• Uphold all company brand standards and contribute to a seamless, luxury guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Strong passion for hospitality and a guest-focused mindset.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and a positive team player.
• Fluent in spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Currently residing in the United Arab Emirates (preferred).
