Spa Therapist

As a Spa Therapist, you will deliver luxurious treatments and personalized wellness experiences that align with the brand’s promise of sophistication and serenity. You will play a key role in enhancing the wellbeing of our guests while upholding Sofitel’s spa and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Spa Treatments

• Perform a full range of treatments including massages, facials, body wraps, scrubs, and tailored spa rituals.
• Assess guest needs and recommend suitable treatments or products for optimal wellbeing.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to consistently deliver high-quality service.

2. Guest Experience & Care

• Create a warm, welcoming, and personalized spa experience for each guest.
• Ensure post-treatment follow-up and provide expert guidance on aftercare or product use.
• Respond empathetically and professionally to guest feedback and special requests.

3. Spa Operations

• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms before and after each session to meet hygiene protocols.
• Maintain inventory of spa products and supplies; report restocking needs to supervisors.
• Comply with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations in accordance with brand and legal requirements.

4. Team Collaboration & Development

• Collaborate with colleagues in spa, wellness, and guest experience teams for smooth daily operations.
• Participate in regular training and team meetings to continuously enhance skills and service quality.
• Support hotel sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives as assigned.

• Uphold Sofitel and LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards at all times.
• Report accidents, guest concerns, or equipment malfunctions promptly to your manager.
• Perform other tasks or duties as requested by the Spa Manager or hotel leadership.

Qualifications

• Certified Spa Therapist, holding recognized qualifications in massage and wellness therapy.
• 2–5 years of professional spa experience within a luxury hotel or high-end spa setting.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Warm, refined, and well-presented demeanor with a guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about health, wellness, and holistic healing.
