About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef (UAE National) to join our esteemed culinary team at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s most luxurious culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety, and food handling protocols at all times, maintaining compliance with HACCP and hotel policies.
• Communicate section-related matters effectively with the Executive Sous Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Support the development and execution of seasonal, innovative menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef / Chef de Cuisine.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior chefs, ensuring consistency in quality and performance.
• Stay informed about global culinary trends, techniques, and premium ingredient usage to inspire excellence and creativity.

About You

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• UAE National with a valid Family Book as per local employment requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a luxury international hotel or fine dining environment.
• Degree in Culinary Arts or related field from a recognized culinary institute.
• Completed a full kitchen apprenticeship and formal chef training programs.
• Expertise in classical and international cuisines, with a strong command of modern culinary techniques.
• Demonstrates leadership, passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
