Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to lead patient care coordination within SEHA’s Al Dhafra healthcare network. This leadership role blends clinical expertise with managerial oversight, supporting interdisciplinary teams to deliver age-appropriate, high-quality, and culturally sensitive care aligned with the Department of Health’s nursing scope and SEHA’s mission.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise nursing teams and promote clinical excellence across departments
- Mentor staff, allocate resources effectively, and ensure adherence to best practices and clinical protocols
- Monitor staff performance and contribute to budgeting and strategic planning
Patient Care & Advocacy
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate services for optimal patient outcomes
- Promote emotional support and ensure a safe, dignified care environment
- Uphold evidence-based practices and advocate for patient rights
Education & Health Promotion
- Educate staff, patients, and families on disease management and health improvement strategies
- Participate in organization-wide health education initiatives and community outreach programs
- Support clinical training and onboarding of nursing personnel
Quality & Safety
- Uphold nursing codes of conduct and regulatory standards including HAAD guidelines
- Maintain communication excellence and address patient concerns proactively
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and service evaluations
Communication & Coordination
- Facilitate collaboration across clinical, administrative, and support teams
- Ensure effective information exchange between patients and healthcare professionals
- Monitor compliance with clinical targets and regulatory benchmarks
📋 Qualifications
Required Education & Certification- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program (minimum 3-year study duration)
- Valid UAE Nursing License
- Preferably certified in Care Coordination and/or clinical specialty area
- Option A: Charge Nurse per DoH PQR + minimum 2 years of experience
- Option B: Staff Nurse per DoH PQR + minimum 4 years of experience
- Option C: Current SEHA nurses who have completed SEHA Specialty Training Program in Care Coordination (experience waiver applicable only for SEHA employees)
- Experience in a tertiary healthcare facility
