Description

The Clinic Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of assigned SEHA clinics, ensuring high performance, operational efficiency, and superior patient service delivery. The role includes oversight of business development activities aligned with SEHA’s corporate strategies and mandates from regulatory bodies such as DOH/HAAD. The incumbent will also work to enhance collaboration across departments and maintain SEHA’s reputation as a top-tier healthcare provider.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Performance
  • Lead the implementation and achievement of quarterly and annual business and operational goals for the clinic.
  • Develop, standardize, and implement best practice management systems in line with SEHA policies.
  • Analyze operational KPIs and business outcomes to drive improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance with SEHA and Department of Health (HAAD) reporting requirements.
Strategic Development & Business Growth
  • Contribute to clinic business development, including local marketing, community engagement, and branding.
  • Monitor market conditions, trends, and competitors to inform business strategies.
  • Foster positive relationships with external stakeholders—consultants, insurers, patients—to build and maintain referral streams and service reputation.
People & Staff Management
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal HR standards.
  • Support staff development by reviewing training needs, arranging educational sessions, and evaluating performance.
  • Guide operational/general services staff, ensuring smooth coordination, timely task completion, and continuous improvement.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Establish effective communication between departments, general services teams, and leadership.
  • Work with interdepartmental teams to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement corrective strategies.
  • Maintain a positive workplace culture, fostering engagement, performance, and retention.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Finance
    • Business Management
    • Healthcare Management
    • Clinical Degree
    • Or other relevant field
  • OR Diploma in relevant field with +3 years of additional experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in:
    • Finance
    • Business/Healthcare Management
    • Clinical Field

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong strategic planning and operational execution skills
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations (DOH/HAAD)
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and performance evaluation skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building acumen
  • Experience with local market dynamics and clinic marketing is preferred
