Consultant PICU

In this position you will be responsible for providing insights to clients. To do so, you will first meet with our clients to uncover their business needs and challenges. Then, you will use your strong analytical skills to perform quantitative and observational data analyses. From these analyses, you will form and present your recommendations to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized care for critically ill pediatric patients.
• Lead and supervise the PICU medical team to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
• Contribute to continuous medical education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completed specialty training in Pediatrics and sub-specialization/fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine (CCT, FRCPCH, American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent).
• Valid DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) Consultant license or eligibility.
• Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experience in pediatrics, including at least 3–5 years in PICU at a consultant level.
• Expertise in advanced life support, invasive/non-invasive ventilation, and pediatric resuscitation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
