The Hostess is responsible for creating a polished and welcoming first impression for guests visiting a premium restaurant. From arrival and seating through farewell, the role combines attentive guest service, organized table management and confident communication. The successful candidate should be naturally warm, professional and comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury dining environment with an international clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests promptly, courteously and confidently while creating a warm first impression that reflects the restaurant’s service standards.
• Manage guest arrivals, waiting times and seating arrangements while keeping the waiting list accurate and communicating updates clearly.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide relevant information about the dining experience, restaurant facilities and service arrangements.
• Maintain natural, engaging conversations with guests while listening carefully to requests, preferences and special occasions.
• Coordinate closely with the restaurant, bar and dining teams to support smooth table flow, accurate guest information and efficient service.
• Bid guests farewell professionally, assist with feedback or concerns and escalate matters appropriately when additional support is required.

Requirements

• Previous hostess, guest relations or luxury hospitality experience is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer-service skills with a polished and friendly manner.
• Ability to remain organized and composed during busy service periods.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to support colleagues across the restaurant operation.
• Confidence interacting with a diverse international guest base and maintaining professional standards.
