Commis Chef - Dubai is an opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day work of Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients through washing, trimming, portioning and basic preparation according to kitchen instructions.
- Assist senior chefs with mise en place, cooking tasks, plating and replenishment during service.
- Store ingredients correctly, label items where required and rotate stock to support freshness and reduce waste.
- Clean utensils, equipment and work surfaces and follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Communicate with kitchen colleagues, follow instructions and help maintain an orderly preparation area.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Some kitchen training or food-preparation experience is useful; willingness to learn is important.
- Understanding of hygiene, safe food handling and clean working practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions and service priorities carefully.
