Barista

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks and other beverages according to recipes and outlet standards.
• Take customer orders accurately, confirm preferences and process transactions where required.
• Maintain equipment, utensils, counters and beverage stations in clean working condition.
• Monitor supplies and communicate replenishment needs while following storage and hygiene procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues to keep orders moving and respond politely to customer feedback.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Barista, café or food-service experience is helpful, along with a willingness to learn beverage preparation standards.
• Good customer communication, attention to detail and a clean, organised work style.
• Ability to handle equipment safely and follow food hygiene procedures.
• Reliability and comfort working in a fast-paced service environment.

Skills and Competencies
