Senior Specialist – Product

Role Overview

As a Senior Specialist – Product, you will support the design, development, and ongoing management of retail banking products. Your focus will be on delivering targeted product solutions for various customer segments, monitoring product performance, optimizing marketing initiatives, and leading small teams to achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Management

• Assist in developing new retail products tailored to customer segments in line with the departmental strategy.
• Drive product performance by monitoring acquisition, attrition, and deepening metrics.
• Support product lifecycle management and ensure marketing programs are effectively tracked and optimized.
• Initiate cross-selling programs to increase product penetration across the customer base.

Business Performance & Budgeting

• Contribute to the business area’s budgeting process.
• Monitor and report financial performance against budgeted targets, highlighting areas of concern and identifying improvement opportunities.

System & Process Enhancement

• Collaborate with IT and internal teams to implement system enhancements and streamline product-related processes.

People & Team Management

• Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to meet performance objectives.
• Ensure adherence to ADCB’s people management practices and policies.
• Promote a culture of performance, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Policy & Governance

• Implement approved departmental policies and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
• Deliver services in line with ADCB’s Service Standards, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience & Education:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, with a strong background in product management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Desirable Skills:

• Solid understanding of banking products and customer behavior.
• Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
