Role       : Credit Manager
Location : Dubai                            

Role Purpose:

The c xrole includes review / analyze customers Credit Applications, Availments and SFCAs. Check documents and genuineness of financial statements, conduct financial and non-financial analysis for Credit Proposals in accordance with bank policies and recommend the financing package that meet customer requirements/ capabilities.     

Key Accountabilities of the role      

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • To review credit applications of companies and ensure that they are in-consistent with credit programs, TM RAC, bank’s policy, central bank law & regulations.
  • Approving the credit proposals up to the designated limit or recommending the proposals to the upper approving limit.
  • Provides satisfactory credit decisions (approve, decline, conditional)/ recommendation / judgment & add value to the analysis of the credit proposals.
  • Contribute to achieving the department objectives, goals & policies.
  • Provide timely report to SME Risk Head for any discrepancies / negative indicators.
  • Work closely with the business in a consultative and proactive manner to ensure credit procedures & policies are effectively implemented & desired standards are met
  • Collaborate with the Business to make sure receiving complete set of documents required for review / analyses of the credit application.
  • Conduct site visits (whenever is needed) to the customers to evaluate the quality of the management / operations & credit worthiness.
  •  Highlight risk factors & mitigation, in each credit application.
  • Conduct any other assignments assigned by line manager




  • RESULTS REQUIERD:


  • Ensuring Minimum error during reviewing the application.
  • Ensuring TAT is as per SLA with Business. 
  • Proper due diligence undertaken for processing / recommending credit proposal. 
  • Ensure no regulatory issue for cases reviewed
  • To attend and pass training courses as prescribe
  • Maintain satisfactory internal and external audit ratings




  • Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

    • Excellent judgement, communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Initiative, analytical & risk evaluation / mitigation
    • Good analytical and technical skills. 
    • English Language/ Arabic is plus. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
