Senior Engineer – Systems Integration

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer to join our Systems Integration team in our HQ, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Free Zone.

Scope:

Responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of complex security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, ANPR, perimeter security, and security management platforms. The role involves managing the Project Engineering and installation teams, project execution, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality security solutions.

Responsibilities:

Financial

• Closely monitor project budgets on resources and equipment to ensure no overspill.

Customer

• Engage with clients to understand their security challenges, objectives, constraints and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with pre-sales, engineering team and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Provide training and guidance to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of security systems.
• Establish ongoing relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any issues or requirements.

Process

• Lead the design, engineering, and implementation of integrated security systems for large-scale projects.
• Manage the project engineers and installation teams and oversee all installation, configuration, and commissioning of security solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor engineers and installation teams performance and project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers, installation teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure that security systems adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices and ensure regulatory certification is up to date.

Innovation

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings on each project.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in security technology and recommend improvements.

Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years proven experience in security system integration, including design, implementation, and support.
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies, protocols, and standards, such as TCP/IP, LDAP, and ONVIF.
• Proficiency in security system platforms and software, such as Genetec, LenelS2, Milestone, and Axis Communications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Project management experience and familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
• Industry / Regulatory certifications such as SIRA and MCC, are advantageous.
• Travel to client sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate project schedules.
