Description
The Senior Legal Counsel provides legal support to commercial business divisions involved in services for international telecommunications carriers. The role sits within the wider Commercial Legal team and serves as a primary legal contact for assigned business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary legal contact for assigned commercial divisions and respond to day-to-day legal enquiries.
- Provide legal advice on commercial matters relating to services for international carriers and other relevant business activities.
- Review business proposals, contractual issues and commercial arrangements and explain relevant legal risks and options.
- Work with commercial stakeholders to support decisions while ensuring advice follows internal legal policies and approval processes.
- Coordinate with other members of the Commercial Legal team on matters requiring broader legal expertise.
- Escalate material legal risks and complex matters to the appropriate senior legal leadership.
- Maintain appropriate records and handle confidential information with professional care.
