Job Overview
A UAE facilities management operation is looking for an Electrical Engineer to help maintain the safety and reliability of building electrical systems. The position is intended for a candidate who has worked in the Facility Management sector and can identify faults, assess equipment condition and support both planned and reactive maintenance. The successful applicant will contribute to inspections, troubleshooting and the restoration of systems when problems arise. Applicants must already be in the UAE, be actively looking for a new opportunity and hold a valid UAE driving licence. A relevant engineering qualification is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Support electrical maintenance activities across assigned buildings and facility management sites.
- Inspect electrical installations and equipment to identify defects, performance issues or potential safety concerns.
- Diagnose faults, determine suitable corrective action and help restore equipment to working condition.
- Carry out and record planned preventive maintenance in line with maintenance schedules.
- Respond to breakdowns and coordinate with technicians or other maintenance disciplines when required.
- Follow technical instructions, site safety practices and applicable maintenance standards.
Requirements and Skills
- Have proven work experience in the Facility Management industry; this is mandatory.
- Understand electrical systems, maintenance routines and fault-finding methods.
- Hold a valid UAE driving licence.
- Be currently based in the UAE and actively seeking employment.
- Demonstrate practical troubleshooting, sound judgement and attention to workplace safety.
- Work effectively with technicians, supervisors and other site teams.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is the relevant educational background. Candidates should be able to apply their technical knowledge to building services, electrical inspections and maintenance work.
Employment Details
The role is full-time in the UAE and offers a stated salary of up to AED 7,000 per month. Facility management experience, UAE residency, an active job search and a valid UAE driving licence are required. Applications should include a current CV and be sent by email.
