Accountant – Facilities Management

Job Overview

Holford Facilities Management LLC is seeking an Accountant to contribute to its finance team in Dubai. The role requires three to five years of relevant accounting experience and a working understanding of financial reporting and UAE VAT. Daily duties will include maintaining accounting records, processing payables and receivables, completing bank reconciliations and helping prepare financial reports. The successful candidate should be comfortable with accounting software and Microsoft Excel and should handle figures and supporting documents carefully. Applicants who can take up the position immediately are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and complete routine finance transactions in a timely manner.
• Process accounts payable and receivable activities and keep supporting documentation in order.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and investigate differences that need clarification.
• Assist with financial statements, periodic reports and schedules required by the finance team.
• Apply UAE VAT knowledge when checking transactions and supporting relevant compliance work.
• Use accounting applications and Excel to record, review and organise financial information.

Requirements and Skills

• Have three to five years of relevant accounting experience.
• Understand core accounting principles and the preparation of financial reports.
• Be experienced with payables, receivables and bank reconciliation processes.
• Have working knowledge of UAE VAT requirements.
• Use MS Excel and accounting software confidently.
• Be organised, accurate and able to communicate with colleagues; immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

Employment Details
