Product Lead 1

The Product Lead turns customer and business problems into clear product priorities, requirements and delivery plans. The role calls for strong discovery, analytical judgement and close collaboration with engineering, design, data and commercial partners. The product lead should be able to move from an uncertain problem to a well-defined solution, set measurable outcomes and guide delivery while balancing user needs, operational feasibility and business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct customer and stakeholder discovery to understand problems, test assumptions and identify the highest-value opportunities.
• Translate insights into product requirements, user stories, success metrics and clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise roadmaps and backlogs with engineering, design and business teams, balancing impact, effort and dependencies.
• Support delivery through design reviews, edge-case analysis, testing and decisions about scope or trade-offs.
• Track product performance after release and use customer feedback and data to guide iteration.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have experience contributing to or leading digital products from discovery through delivery and improvement.
• Be able to write detailed product requirements and explain complex needs in language engineering teams can act on.
• Use qualitative research and quantitative data to prioritise work and evaluate outcomes.
• Manage multiple stakeholders and remain effective when priorities or assumptions change.
