Graphic Designer

Position Title : Graphic designer (Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in Arabic.)

Reports to - Senior Copy writer

A creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to develop packaging graphics across multiple product categories. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, creative execution, and technical expertise to deliver packaging that is both functional and visually compelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret the business and market needs and developing the packaging graphics accordingly
• Create category specific packaging graphic guidelines and follow it consistently across all the products within that category
• Create packaging that balances functionality with strong visual appeal.
• Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
• Generate innovative ideas and creative concepts for packaging solutions.
• Develop packaging design by gathering information and data through Consumer Feedback, In store Check & Competitor Study
• Monitor and adhere to the budget allocated for packaging design and develop the same within the constraints of cost and time

QUALIFICATION

Graduate

Diploma/Certification in Graphic design and Certification in Adobe Photoshop

EXPERIENCE

• 6 to 8 years of experience as a Graphic Designer in Packaging Development.
• Experience in developing packaging graphics of Home Furnishing Products will be an added advantage

COMPETENCIES

• Expert in using the design programs i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, 3ds Max & Acrobat
• Good knowledge of colour theory and reproduction
• Good knowledge on Printing and post printing operations
• Good knowledge on photo editing and photographic skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
