Maintenance Technician

NFPC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Abu Dhabi to maintain and repair critical dairy and beverage production equipment. The position supports the reliability of fresh and UHT production lines by diagnosing failures, performing preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns and maintaining equipment in line with OEM and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair homogenizers, pumps, UHT sterilizers, pasteurizers, tank agitators, mixers and aseptic processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot valve alarms, milk-powder hoppers, conveyors and associated production-line systems.
• Perform diagnostic assessments and root-cause analysis to identify recurring equipment problems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance activities including lubrication, cleaning, calibration and routine inspection.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to reduce downtime and production losses.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with production teams to minimize disruption.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records covering work completed, parts used and planned activities.
• Monitor spare-parts availability and support adequate inventory levels for uninterrupted maintenance.
• Conduct maintenance risk assessments and follow lockout/tagout, isolation and electrical-safety procedures.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of Fresh/UHT machinery in accordance with established food-production procedures.

Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of experience in the dairy or beverage industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robotics and industrial control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work closely with production teams.
• Commitment to safe maintenance practices and hygienic food-production standards.
